Auditions

Auditions will be conducted in two ways: in-person at Centreville Library (14200 St. Germain Dr Centreville VA 20121-2299) on June 9th from 2pm to 4pm) and virtually through video submissions (due by Monday June 11th at 7pm).

In-Person Auditions

Come prepared to perform monologues from the script and demonstrate some improvisational audience interactions. Please bring a list of conflicts for Sunday afternoons 2-4:30 and Wednesday events 7-9 starting 6/16.

Virtual Auditions

Auditioners may choose to submit video auditions with 1-2 monologues from the script and a demonstration of improv abilities in character. (This could be introducing yourself to one of the audience members in character and asking them questions. This does not need to be long but should demonstrate actor's ability to engage one-on-one.) Please email yamproductions.director@gmail.com for sides and an audition form. Virtual submissions are due by Tuesday June 11th at 7pm.

Rehearsal Process

Rehearsals, auditions, and performances will all take place at Centreville Regional Library in Centreville, Virginia.

Rehearsals will occur 0, 1, or 2 times a week from 6/16-7/24 on Sundays (generally 2-4:30) and Wednesdays (7-9). The rehearsal schedule will be crafted based on cast availability and show requirements. The aim is for one rehearsal a week leading up to the show.
